Accomplishments
• Designed the "Sustainable City Concept Proposal", the platform that established the City of Miami Beach
Sustainability Committee
• Co -Founded the "City of Miami Beach Sustainability Committee".
• Co -Founded and Co -Chaired the Greater Miami & the Beaches Hotel Association "Sustainable Hospitality
Council".
• Raised approximately $800,000 to ECOMB, throughout a period of seven years, through grants, corporate

• Founded and coordinated the annual Miami & the Beaches Environmental Film Festival (2011) and the
monthly Cinema Green Series (2009) screening approximately 200 environmental documentaries to an

• Established Miami -Dade County's first and only community Electronic Waste Recycling drop-off station
diverting approximately 17,452 lbs. from our landfills.
• Designed and implemented other successful educational/fundraising strategies to include the Clean
Beaches Campaign, Keep Our Beaches Clean Aerial Banner Project, Eco Art Gallery Beach Bin Adoption
Program, Eco -Partnerships Team Building Project, Miami Beach Commercial Recycling Guide Poster,
ECOMB Residential Recycling Bag, Raising the Bar Recycling Project, Online Recycling Resource Database,
amongst others.
• Designed and implemented the "Miami -Dade County Youth Forum on Climate Change and Water" at the
University of Miami for over 80 attendees.
• Co -coordinated and implemented the successful "Mayors' Green Initiative for Economic Growth Workshop
and Trade Show", on August 2010, at the Miami Beach Convention Center, to over 700 attendees and 40
exhibitors.
• Designed and coordinated the first Planning Meeting towards the implementation in February of 2016 of
the Biscayne Bay Litter Prevention Summit.
