EXPERIENCE
Girl Scouts, Miami Beach— Ambassador Scout
(2008 - 2009) (2012 - PRESENT)
Individuality, leadership, and group collaboration are all skill that are honed in Girl
Scouts. Troupe 1239 of Miami Beach Florida is led by Marice Band and does one main
service project per month to help the community along with small journeys where girls
earn badges. Service Projects such as “Teachers Helper”, where the girls collect
donations for school supplies to give to students in need, and “Lotus House Dinner”,
where the girls cook different players of food to the Lotus House Shelter for women
and children and interact with the kids and mother while eating and playing.

The Thespian Honor Society is a program where the student must collect a certain
amount of Thespian points their first year to join. Once joined, the student has the
opportunity for scholarships based on performance, along with learning about the
theater and technical aspects of theatre. Commitment and responsibility is needed and,
depending on ranking and position, leadership skills.

Miami Beach Senior High Schools Stage Crew involves learning all aspects of what
happens behind the screen in school productions such as: induction ceremonies, award

flexibility, and being on time are all vital in Stage Crew; if a mishap occurred, one
would be new to be able to deal with the situation calm and orderly. During the school
year 2017-2018 I was a Sound Designer, Light Designer, and Backstage Manager. This
current year, 2018-2019, I am the Head Stage Manager and will be in charge of

PROJECTS
Nautilus Morning Announcements — Nautilus Middle School
Every morning the school announcements would play on the television, yet most
people don’t see the work occurring behind the camera. As the switching role of the
camerawoman and switching monitors, the need for a good reaction time and someone
able to assess the situation was eminent.
“Into the Woods” Musical — Miami Beach Senior High School
As the Sound Director, I worked up in the Technical Booth creating sound cues
throughout rehearsals and putting them into effect during shows. Flexibility and
responsiveness are needed in case the actors on stage mess up, or a change needs to be
made last minute. For example, during the second show one of the actors did not make
it to their spot on time, causing the need for the following scene to occur, which means
every light and sound cue needs to be changed within a matter of seconds.
“Dark Road” One Act — Miami Beach Senior High School
“Dark Road” is a One Act that our Troupe, 0391, brought to Thespian State
Competitions after coming first in District 8. In the District competitions we received
the highest score, multiple actor award, and the “Best Technical Crew Award”. As the
Assistant Stage Manager, I was in charge of all the people backstage, actors and fellow
technicians both. I kept track of what actors were needed when and what props they
needed for their scene, along with lead the technicians backstage and communicated
with the Technical Booth.
“The Murderous Mansion of Mr. Uno” Straight Play — Miami
Beach Senior High School
As the Assistant Stage Manager, I worked as the head of backstage securing the
positions of the actors, props, and fellow technicians. The role required major
leadership due to the amount of actors utilized throughout the play.
