Join the Charter Review Board on Thursday, May 29, 2003 at 4:30 p.m. Do YOU want to make a difference in YOUR City? Do you want YOUR voice heard? The City of Miami Beach Charter Review Board wants YOUR comments and ideas, As a City of Miami Beach residenl, do YOU have any suggestions on how to change YOUR City of Miami Beach government? The Charter Review Board wants YOUR input. The Miami Beach City Charter is equivalent to the State Constitution, establishing the City's form of government setting forth the powers and duflee of [YOUR] governing body. A review of the Charter occurs every ten years. It's YOUR opportunity to participate in shaping the form of YOUR government. The next meeting of the Charter Review Board is Thursday, May 29, 2003 at 4:30 p.m., in the City Commission Chambers, 3rd floor, City Hall, 1700 Convention Center Drive. This meeting will be televised "live" on Miami Beach Governmental Channel 20.
