I am currently the President of Palau’s Board of Directors and the Treasurer of the Sunset Harbour Neighborhood Association (SHNA). I am the founder of Silver Platter Consulting, LLC; an investment company that spans various industries. Prior to founding Silver Platter Consulting, I was the Executive Vice President of Sales for the East Coast Division at a Fortune 100 technology company for over 15 years. Philanthropically, I operate and am on the Board of SOBE Cats Spay & Neuter, Inc.; which is a 501c3 nonprofit that helps to control the Miami Beach stray cat population by trapping, spaying/neutering, vaccinating then releasing our stray community cats. In addition, we worked with the City of Miami Beach to establish a Community Cat Registered Feeder program. Our Registered Feeder Program allows us to help educate, support and organize those individuals that are kind enough to feed our homeless community cat population. We count on our Feeders to not only feed and provide fresh water to the cats, but to also make us aware of any cats that have not been spayed/neutered (noted by a snip in the cats left ear), so we can work with that Feeder to educate on TNVR (Trap Neuter/Spay Vaccinate Return) options and techniques so we can ensure the kitty gets fixed and is given vaccinations. In addition, our Feeders keep an eye out for injured cats that need medical attention. We count on our kind donors to help us cover veterinarian bills. Over the last 12 months I served as Chair for the first City of Miami Beach Animal Welfare Committee. I believe that my leadership skills, results oriented focus, extensive Executive management background, people skills, and technology savvy are several of my attributes that will help me to excel in a continued role on the Miami Beach Animal Welfare Committee. It takes time, dedication, and tenacious follow up skills to make sure a committee runs efficiently. I am capable and willing to put in the elbow grease. I look forward to assisting the City of Miami Beach with helping to improve communication, care and coordination around the welfare of our beloved animal population. When I am not working on my business or philanthropy work; you will see me boating, paddle-boarding, riding my beach cruiser around the beach, taking a bar class up the road, or heading to a dance class.
