THIS INDENTURE, Made this q~ day of ~y, A. D.,
1941, between JACOB CHAVES, and ESTH~R CHAVES, his wife, of
the County of Dade and State of Florida, parties of the
first part, and CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, a municipal corporation
of the State of Florida, party of the second part,
WITNESSETH, That the said parties of the first
part, for and in consideration of the sum of TEN DOLLARS
and other valuable considerations to them in hand paid by
the party of the second part, the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained and sold to
the said party of the second part, its successors and
assigns, forever, for street and alley purposes, the follow-
ing described land situate, lying and being in the County of
Dade and State of Florida, to-wit:
The Easterly ten (10) feet
of Lot Twelve (12) of Block
One (1) of Plat of the Town-
site of Harding, as recorded
in Plat Book 34, Dage 4, of
the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida.
And the said parties of the first part do hereby
fully warrant the title to said land, and will defend the
same against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.
It is fully understood and agreed by and between
the parties hereto that the above described property is
hereby conveyed for street and alley purposes only, and
that the use of said property by the party of the second
part for any other purpose, or the abandonment of the use
of said property for street or alley purposes shall cause
the above-described property to immediately revert to the
parties of the first part, their heirs and assigns, with
full title in fee simple, as fUlly and completely ap if
this conveyance had never been made.
