The past 18 months the focus has been to rebuild the leadership
team to improve the hotel financial and service results. In 2019
the hotel achieved year over 12.8% growth in topline revenues,
1000 bases points growth in NOI, 150 bases points in Customer
service. Collaborated with sales and marketing team to redefine
hotel branding and story to further develop resort experiences
within the hotel. Increased Group cross over goals in 2019 to drive
and improve ADR and STR position. Brought the restaurant
concept back in-house in March and renovated the restaurant and
the lounge, rebranding and reimaging food and cocktail concepts.

Returned to Calgary at the request of the hotel owner local family
to lead the hotel through a very tough energy sector recession.
Hotel topline revenues had declined 32% in less than 24 months.
Started with reimaging hotel leadership roles and creating cross
functional responsibilities to streamline efficiencies to improve
GOP flow and improve customer service touch points. Even
though the recession continued the hotel achieved growth in
topline, ADR, GOP flow and customer service scores. We reduced
the management team by 26% and improved service scores by
15%. I assisted the mayor office to create a convention district to
focus brining back citywide conventions and spearheaded a three
brand approach to selling the city Hyatt, Fairmont and Marriott
along with convention center. Worked with US Hyatt Sales Force
to redeploy the Canadian national sales efforts to drive more
effective collaborative Canadian sales efforts.

financial results. The hotel boosted the largest hotel ballroom and
event space along with restaurant bars with street access to a
busy walk. We were able to build the hotel into “the event hotel”
in the city and grew event revenues by 150% in 5 years.
Developed an off premise catering program working with local
museums, outdoor venues and private homes with 24 months we
achieved over $5 million in sales. Due to fantastic results and
achievements I was awarded Hyatt Hotels Director of the year in
2005.

Joined Delta team and this was my first hotel position. The

and wedding business from September to May and in the summer
season responsible for restaurants and bars. Worked close on the
service delivery and assisted the sales team to increase revenues
within 18 months by 23%.
