As Regional Managing Director, Ms. Echarte marketed the firm’s services to lenders and attorneys in Florida, the Southeast, and along the East Coast promoting the firm’s track record in providing solutions to troubled real estate, operating in a judicial setting. From 2006-2009, Terri was a Managing Director for HFF (Holliday Fenoglio Fowler), a national real estate investment banking company with offices throughout the US. During her tenure with HFF, Terri acquired clients for the firm and arranged debt financing for office, hotels, retail, multifamily and mixed-use real estate projects primarily in Florida. Prior to HFF, Terri served as Senior Vice President with Bank of America for nearly ten years in the Commercial Real Estate Bank and in Bank of America’s securitized lending area. During that time, Terri managed a commercial real estate loan portfolio for the bank’s Tier I clients, and was a senior loan production officer charged with procuring additional credit and non-credit business for the bank. Terri also served Bank of America as a Senior Underwriter working through the credit and underwriting process to structure loans, obtain approvals , and close loans. As a real estate generalist, Terri began her real estate career in asset management for I.R.E. Financial Corp., a public real estate syndicator. She also worked in acquisitions and dispositions for United Trust Fund, a 30+ year, family owned company specializing in sale-leasebacks of corporate real estate, and was the Director of Client Relations for IBEX Institutional Advisors, a pension fund advisor to the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS), as well as an advisor to a number of offshore institutional and private clients. Terri is a graduate of Boston College’s School of Business Administration and completed her MBA with the University of Miami. Terri is a licensed real estate broker and mortgage broker. Terri has served on the Boards of Commercial Real Estate W omen (CREW -Miami) and the RMA (Risk Management Association) and is a Founding Member of 100+ Women Who Care, Miami Dade Chapter, a 501c3 focused on local giving and awarding grants to qualified charities doing business in Miami.
