Vilma B. Biaggi, M.D. is a practicing Breast Specialist in South Florida. Dr. Biaggi did her under graduate studies, Bachelor in Science and Nursing degree with a Major in Psychiatric nursing & ICU in Argentina. In 1963, she came to the United States and validated all her undergraduate studies to continue pursuing her career. At age 29 she began her medical school, graduated and did her post graduate in the University of Colorado Medical School, where she completed three years of General Surgery and two years of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care. After completing her fellowships she came to South Florida where she has been practicing medicine ever since. In 1983 she became part of the life of Miami Beach when she purchased the Cadet Hotel, which was home to the cadets that were training in 1942 during the war, and she has since rebuilt it to the current times. She practiced in hospitals in South Florida until 1990, and with her surgical background she was certified as a Breast Imaging Specialist by the American College of Radiology. Since that time she established herself in Aventura, where she remains with the most active and gratifying practice. Her hobbies include music, traveling and love of nature.
