To Whom It May Concern: I am thrilled with unmitigated joy to be applying for a Commission and or Board with the illustrious Miami Beach City manager system of Local Government. I have more than 10 years of experience in politics and campaigning, most recently as the Field coordinator for Lincoln Strategy-a political consulting firm in Tucson, AZ, Washington D.C. and Barcelona, Spain respectively. I am confident that my skills and experience would make me the perfect candidate for this role. As the lead grassroots activist ambassador for Chip Roy's for Congress campaign in the 2020 Presidential election year cycle. I was accountable for managing a team of field organizers who were responsible for contacting voters, organizing events, raising monies, conducting public polling sessions, and recruiting volunteers. I was also responsible for developing and managing the campaign budget. Under my leadership, the Roy for Congress campaign achieved a victory in the general election defeating a well-funded and formidable Democratic candidate. I have also worked in similar roles in the political arena, including as a Legislative Aide and as a Field Organizer. I have a deep understanding of the inner workings of a political campaigning and the acumen to be successful. I am motivated and determined, and I have a proven track record of success. Also, important to note; I have written extensively on matters concerning Public Policy and P-Politics having my works published as Editor and Staff Writer with Alma Matter's student newspaper (Independent Collegian) In terms of elected office, i was elected by constituents as a delegate to the Colorado State Republican Convention in 2016 and was hired by The Republican National Committee (RNC) to serve as liaison for The Republican National Convention in Cleveland that same year. Moreover, served as an alternate delegate for the convention as well. I too was elected to the Charter Review Commission in my home city as a non-partisan and non-compensated public official. Analyzing matters similar in scope, design, and legislative intent, and practice of councilmembers and commissioners potentially here in Miami Beach. I believe in civic engagement and underlying purpose which brings at times political discourse and rancor. As one Jefferson wrote "the greatest form of patriotism is dissent" By the same token, agreeableness and unity creates movement and changes systematically and systemically to create a more perfect union. With the overarching objective to do the greatest amount of good for the greatest amount of people. In close, I am passionate about instructional training and applying leadership level and managerial skills in prior works to create an envoy of dedicated activists. That are merged neatly with the cornerstone values of civic engagement. I am confident that I have the talent and the prestige to be a very good asset to the City of Miami Beach. I look forward to meeting with you to discuss this opportunity further. In my spare time, I enjoy several aquatic and outdoor sports, spending time with friends and family and extensively traveling the country. What better place to enjoy the blessings of the outdoors than Miami Beach an oasis of fun and excitement. Thank you, for your time and consideration. Zachary E. Parente
