From 2014-2020 and again in 2023, I served on the City of Miami Beach Historic Preservation Board in the seat
reserved for a registered architect. For the past five years, I have also researched and taught Historic
Preservation and Climate Change in Miami Beach to FIU graduate students in Architecture who study Miami
Beach.
