Resume for Youth Commissioner
Hi, My name is Oliver William, I am in 10th grade and I go to Miami Beach Senior High School.
Because I am in 10th grade I do not have that much of a resume, but I am looking to do abundance
amount of extra circular activities and increase my APS classes and strength in schedule throughout the
rest of high school.
Firstly, let’s talk about Extra circular activities.
Here is my agenda for extra circular activities this year:
1. I am doing food drives once a month to help my community and to even better my
community’s status, I will make my own community service project which will be to hold a
annual yearly thanksgiving food drive as food drives are the biggest and are needed the
most during the holidays such thanksgiving.
2. Also, I have a job working a Front store clerk which I have been doing 2 months now and
looking to continue for years to come. I will look to get promotions as I get more experience
with my job. I will also use this platform to help my community by getting the food and
materials for the annual Thanksgiving food drive I will host.
3. I will join 4 total clubs such as Best Buddies, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Model UN, and start my
own club with my temple that I am starting this week Thursday. The purpose of this club
would be to give back to the holocaust survivors and provide healthcare, housing, or any
else they are needing.
4. I am also on the basketball team and tennis team. I was on the Basketball team last year and
this would be my first year of Tennis. I am looking to do both for the rest of high school.
5. Lastly, I am doing Debate which I will compete for Tournaments 4-5 Saturdays and will
definitely finish debate the rest of high school
Next, here is my agenda for the rest of high school. As I will continue to do the activities for
this year to show consistency adding the following:
1. I will join the HIP program and be on the board and executive board.
2. I will be captain or president of Debate as you can only get elected Junior or Senior Year.
3. I will do the National Honors Society that it could only do as a Junior or Senior
4. I will HJSI during junior summer which is where I go to Israel and do some learning and
see and explore other countries.
5. Also, do an internship in another country Senior Summer.
6. Lastly, I have citizenship because I have a Belgium passport and I am a Belgium Citizen.
Not only extra circular activities I am doing that is good for my resume, I am doing a bunch
of extra school credits also.
For example, this year I am taking 3 APS which include, AP Human Geography, Ap Language
Arts, and AP computer science. Not only APS I’m taking, dual enrollment is also a great
opportunity to start your College GPA which I am in of them. I am also n Honors classes like
Algebra 2 and Physics. Finally, I will do IB next year which is a lot of work but ultimately
worth it at the end.
This concludes my future goals for high school and my ultimate resume. To whom
commissioner this may concern, I think I would be a great fit for this program as I am very
interested in brainstorming ideas to help my community as shown in my resume. I would
love to represent any official that would give mt the amazing opportunity to be a youth
commissioner.
Thank you,
Oliver William
