I pride myself on being a "developer" that is very focused on the bridging the gap between the preservation community and the development community. I have been involved in the redevelopment/preservation of many historic structures around town including the historic Greenbrier Hotel located at 3101 Indian Creek drive, which i still own today. I believe the building department is often a scapegoat for an overall permit process that could use some refinement and pulled out of an overly bureaucratic process and be more transparent to make it easier on everyone NOTE: IF APPOINTED, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO FOLLOW CERTAIN LAWS THAT APPLY TO CITY BOARD/COMMITTEE MEMBERS.
