Please list below: I have been working on marine debris issues in Biscayne Bay and Miami Beach since 2012, with a focus on litter prevention, reductions in single-use plastics, effective waste management, and education / outreach through leading cleanups. I am co-founder of www.VolunteerCleanup.Org which is an event management website that helps connect volunteers with cleanup opportunities. Through our platform, we have helped coordinate over 4,000 cleanups removing over 800,000 pounds of debris. I am a strong advocate for reasonable solutions to real problems and see strong social and economic opportunities within environmental protection.
