Ad 0294 MIAMI BEACH CITY COMMISSION "NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC The Miami Beach City Commission will hold a public hearing at their regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, December 8th, 2004, at 9:00 A.M., in the City CommiSsion Chambers, City Hail, 1700 Convention Center Drive, Third Floor, Miami Beach, Flodda 33139. At this meeting, the City Commission will discuss granting final demolition approval to the following City-owned structures: 201-225 Washington Avenue - Washington Park. The applicant, the City of Miami Beach, has received a Certificate of Appropriateness for the demolition of two vacarlt ancillary structures located in Washington Park from the Historic Preservation Bo~'d (HPB File No. 2440) at its September 14, 2004 meeting. The City of Miami Beac~ Property Management Division is seeking final approval from the City Commission to demolish the two structures. All persons are invited to appear at this meeting or be represented by an agent, or tO express their views in writing addressed to the Miami Beach Historic City Commission c/o the City-Clerk's Office, 1700 Convention Center Drive, Ground Floor, City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida 33139. The application for the aboye project is available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Planning Department, 1700 Convention Center Drive, 2nd Floor, Miami Beach, Florida 33139. Inquiries may be directed to the Department at 305-673- 7550. Pursuant to Section 286.0105, Fla. Stat., the City hereby advises the public that: if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the .City Commission with respect to any matter considered at its meeting or its hearing, such person must ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. This notice does not constitute consent by the City for the introduction or admission of otherwise inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor does it authorize challenges or appeals not otherwise allowed by law.
