NOTICE OF ZONING MAP CHANGE
The City of Miami Beach proposes to adopt the
following Ordinance:
An Ordinance of the Mayor and City Commission of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, Amending the Land
Development Regulations of the Miami Beach City
Code; Amending Section 118-593, "Historic
Preservation Designation"; Amending Section 118-
593(e), "Delineation on Zoning Map'; Amending Se,c, tion
118-593(e)(1), "Historic Preservation Sites (HPS) By
Designating the 28th Street Obelisk and Pumping
Station as an Historic Structure to Be Known as the
"28th Street Obelisk and Pumping Station Historic
Structure," Located at 300 West 28th Street and
Consisting of an Area that Includes the Orlg na 1926
Structure and its Appurtenancesl as More Particularly
Described Herein; Providing that the City's ZoningMap
Shall Be Amended to Include the 28th Street Obelisk
Pumping Station as an Historic Structure; Adopting
,~.~e,d; Designation Report Attached Hereto as Appendix
Providing for Inclusion in the Land Development
Regulations of the City Code, Repealer, Severability,
and an Effective Date.
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a first and
only reading public hearing on the Ordinance will be

The historic structure proposed for designation is shown on the Map within this Zoning Map Change.
All pereone are invited to appear at this meetingor be'represented by an agent or to express their views in writingaddressed to
the Miami Beach Cty Commission c/o the City Clerk, 1700 Convention Center Drive, First Floor, City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida
33139.
The Ordinance and other relatsd materials regarding the proposed historic structure are available for public inspection dur ng
normal business hours in the City Clerk's Office. Inquiries may be directed to the Planning Department at (305) 673-7550. The
hearing on this Ordinance may be continued at this meeting and, under such circumstances, additional ega not ce wou d not be
provided. Any person may contact the C ty Clerk's Off ce at (305) 673-7.411 for nformation as to the status of the Ordinance as a
result of the meeting.
Pursuant to Section 286.0105, Fla. Stat., the City hereby advises the public that: If a person decides to appeal any decision
made by the City Commission with respect to an}/matter considered at its meeting or its hearing, such person must insure that a
verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record Includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be
