72-13704 RESORESOLUTION NO. ~ 3704
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has
acquired by purchase and by condemnation for municipal
purposes to wit: the off-street parking of automobiles,
the following described properties, on the dates and for
the purchase prices stated:
Lots 13, 14 and 15 of ALTON BEACH
REALTY COMPANY'S SUBDIVISION of Lot
10 Block 45 ALTON BEACH according
to the Plat thereof recorded in Plat
Book 6, page 165 of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida, acquired by
purchase and by condemnation proceed-
ings from the American Savings & Loan
Association of Florida on July 21, 1972,
for the purchase price of $126,132.56
for Lots 14 and 15, and by condemnation
of Lot 13, $48,750.00 on June 23, 1972.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, hereby formally reques~ exemption
from taxes on the properties herein set forth, from the
date of acquisition thereof, pursuant to Florida Statutes,
Section 196.28.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that certified copies of
this Resolution be transmitted forthwith to the County
Manager of Dade County, Florida, and to the appropriate
I)ade Co,~nty tax officials.
