THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this /J - day of

, 1956, by and between DOROTHY WHITE, a single
of the first part, hereinafter referred to as the
"Owner", and the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, a Florida municipal corporation,
party of the second part, hereinafter referred to as the "City".
WIT N E SSE T H
That for and in consideration of the mutual covenants
hereinafter set forth, the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. The "Owner" will sell and convey and the "City"
will purchase that certain parcel of land situate, lying and being
in the City of Miami Beach, County of Dade, State of Florida,
described as follows, to wit:
The westerly three (3) feet of the northerly
one hundred sixty-six and nine-tenths (166.9)
feet less the southerly sixty-six and nine-
tenths (66.9) feet of Lot One (1), Block
Seven-A (7-A) of AMENDED GOLF COURSE SUBDIVISION,
according to the Plat thereof, as recorded in
Plat Book 6 at page 26 of the Public Records of
Dade County, Florida.
2. The "Owner" will, within twenty (20) days from the
date hereof, furnish to the "Cityll an abstract of title showing
the "Owner's" title to be good and marketable.
3. The "Owner" will convey the said land to the "City"
by good and sufficient warranty deed, free and clear of all
encumbrances, except restrictions of record, zoning ordinances of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, such municipal improvement liens
as may be pending but not certified at the time of the closing of
the transaction contemplated hereby, and taxes for the year 1956.
Taxes to be prorated as of the date of closing.
l~. The "City" agrees to pay to the "Owner" as the
full purchase price of said land the sum of one thousand dollars
($1,000.00) cash, and agrees to transplant at its own cost and
expense all existing shrubbery situate upon the parcel of land
which is hereby agreed to be sold and conveyed in accordance with
the directions and instructions of the "O\\lner".

5. The "City" agrees that no municipal improvement
liens will be claimed or assessed for any portion of the cost
of constructing a sidewalk and pavement upon the land to be
acquired, or the lightinc thereof.
6. The transaction contemplated hereby shall be
closed not la ter than the 2nd day of

7. This agreement shall be binding upon each of
the parties hereto, their heirs, successors and assigns.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the "Owner" has hereto executed
and delivered this agreement, and the "City" has caused its
corporate seal to be affixed, and these presents to be executed
by its duly authorized officer and attested to by its City Clerk,
all as of the day and year first above written.
