Owner, and JACK D. GORDON, JACK COURSHON and ARTHUR COURSHON,
as
as Lessees, hereinafter referred to as the "SELLERS", and CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, a Florida municipal corporation, hereinafter
referred to as the "CITY".
WIT N E SSE T H
That for and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar
($1.00), each to the other in hand paid, and in further consid-
eration of the mutual covenants hereinafter set forth, the
parties agree as follows:
1. The SELLERS will sell and convey, in lieu of
condemnation proceedings, and the CITY will purchase that certain
parcel of land situate, lying and being in the City of Miami
Beach, Dade County, Florida, more particularly described as
follows, to wit:
Lot 2 in Block 7-A and that part of a
strip of land 30 feet wide and marked
"Bridle Path" adjacent to and lying East
of Lot 2 of ALTON BEACH REALTY COMPANY'S
SUBDIVISION, OF GOLF COURSE SUBDIVISION,
according to the Plat thereof, recorded
in Plat Book 6, at Page 26, of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
together with all improvements thereon,
less the westerly 3 feet of said Lot 2,
said property being also commonly known as 1937 Meridian Avenue,
Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida.
2. The SELLERS will, within fifteen (15) days from the
date hereof, furnish to the CITY an abstract of title showing
the SELLERS' title to be good and marketable.
3. The SELLERS will convey said land to the CITY by
good and sufficient warranty deed, free and clear of all encum-
brances, except restrictions of record, zoning ordinances of the

City of Miami Beach, Florida, such municipal improvement liens
as may be pending, but not certified at the time of the closing
of the transaction contemplated hereby. All taxes shall be
pro-rated as of the date of closing.
4. The CITY agrees to pay as the full purchase price
of said land, the sum of Two Hundred Thirty-One Thousand and
One Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($231,125.00), at the time of
the closing of the transaction contemplated hereby, said
compensation is calculated and shall be paid as follows:
To the Seller for her interest.................$153,650.00
To the Lessees for their interests............. 65,000.00
Kenneth Oka, Esq., Attorney's fees............. 12,475.00
5. All required documentary stamps, State and Federal,
shall be affixed to the Deed at the time of the delivery at the
cost of the SELLER, FLORRY MEYER, a widow.
6. The transaction contemplated hereby shall be closed
not later than January 28, 1974.
7. Said sum of $231,125.00 shall be in full compensation
for the taking of said land including all attorney's fees, expenses
and other costs, if any.
8. This Agreement shall be binding upon each of the
parties hereto, and their respective heirs, legal representatives,
successors and assigns.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the SELLER and the LESSEES have
hereunto set their hands and seals, and the CITY has caused these
presents to be signed in its name by its duly authorized officer
and its corporate seal to be hereunto affixed the day and year
first above written.
