NOTICE OF APPEAL HEARING
The City of Miami Beach HistOric Preservation SPecial Master Will hold a
hearing on Monday, JUly 24, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. in the CommiSSion
Chambers, City Hall, 1700 ConVention Center Drive, 3rd Floor, Miami
Beach, Florida 33139, to consider an appeal filed by Ocean Drive
PlllServatlon Association, Inc., a Florida Corporation, Christina laBuzelta,
and Austin O'Toole, regarding the fOllOWing:
An appeal of an Order of the Historic PreserVation Board rendered March
15, 2006, regarding File No. 3223, 425-455 Ocean Drive, granting the
apPlicant, Savoy Hotel Partners, llC d/b/a Savoy Arlington Hotel, a
Certificate of ApPropriateness for the partial demolition, renOvation and
restoration of the two (2) existing 3-story hotel bUildings, a one story roof
top addition on both existing structures, and the construction of a new 2-
story bUilding fronting Ocean Drive, and three (3), 7 -story bUildings at the
rear of the site. The appeal shall be based on the record of the hearing
before the HistOric Preservation Board, shall not be a de novo hearing,
and no new, additional testimony shall be taken.
The appeal request and all dOcuments pertaining to File No. 3223,
Including all Proceedings before the Historic Preservation Board, are
available for pUblic inspection during nOnnal bUsiness hours In the offices
of the Planning Department, 2nd floor, City Hall. Inquiries may be
directed to the Department at (305) 673-7550.
Pursuant to Section 286.0105, Fla. Stat., the City hereby advises the
pUblic that: If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City
Commission with resPeel to any matter considered at its meeting or its
hearing, such person must ensure that a verbatim record of the
ProCeedings is made, which recOrd includes the testimony and evidence
upOn which the appeal is to be based. This notice does not COnstitute
consent by the City for the Introduction or admission of otherwise
inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor does it authorize challenges or
appeals not otherwise allowed by law.

NOTICE OF APPEAL HEARING

hearing on Monday, July 24, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. in the Commission
Chambers, City Hall, 1700 Convention Center Drive, 3rd Floor, Miami
Beach, Florida 33139, to consider an appeal filed by Ocean Drive
Preservation Association, Inc., a Florida Corporation, Christina LaBuzetta,
and Austin O'Toole, regarding the following:
An appeal of an Order of the Historic Preseniation Board rendered March
15, 2006, regarding File No. 3223, 425-455 Ocean Drive, granting the
applicant, Savoy Hotel Partners, LLC d/b/a Savoy Arlington Hotel, a
Certificate of Appropriateness for the partial demolition, renovation and
restoration of the two (2) existing 3-story hotel buildings, a one story roof
