PARTIAL RBLEASE OF MORTGAGE
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
WHEREAS. BLUE OCEAN VILLAS INC., a Florida corpora-
tion, by Indenture of Mortgage dated the 27th day of December,
1948, and recorded in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit
Court in and for the County of Dade, State of Florida, under
Clerk's File No. X-117343, granted and conveyed unto RELIANCE LIFE
INSURANCE COMPANY OF PITTSBURGH, a Pennsylvania corporation, and
assigns, the premises therein particularly described, to secure
the payment of the sum of ONE HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND and NO/IOO
(~150,OOO.00) DOLLARS, with interest as therein mentioned; and
WHEREAS, said BLUE OCEAN VILLAS INC. has agreed to
sell to the City of Miami Beach, Florida, and the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, has agreed to purchase from said BLUE OCEAN VILLAS
INC., free and clear of the lien of said mortgage, the following
described property, to-wit:
That portion of Lot One (1) through Lot Six (6)
in Block "N" of ATLANTIC HEIGHTS as shown on the
corrected Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 9,
Page 14, of the public records of Dade County,
Florida, said portion being more fully described
as follows:
Begin at the northeasterly corner of Lot One (1)
in Block "N" of ATLANTIC HEIGHTS; thence run
southeasterly along the northeasterly line of said
Block "N" a distance of Three Hundred Eleven and
Fifty-nine one-hundredths (311.59) feet to the
point of curvature of a curve having a radius of
Twenty (20) feet, said curve being at the south-
easterly corner of Lot Six (6) in said Block "N";
thence run along said curve deflecting to the right
to a point, said point being Nine (9) feet south-
westerly of the northeasterly line of said Block
"N" produced southeasterly, said Nine (9) feet being
measured at rif.ht angles to the northeasterly line
of said Block 'N", produced southeasterly; thence
run northwesterly along a straight line parallel to
and Nine (9) feet southwesterly of the northeasterly
line of said Block "N" to a point on the north-
westerly line of said Lot Six (6), said Nine (9)
feet being measured at right angles to the north-
easterly line of said Block "N"; thence run north-
westerly along a straight line to a point on the
southeasterly line of Lot Two (2) of said Block
"N", said point being Ten (10) feet southwesterly
of the northeasterly line of said Block "N" and
measured at right angles to the northeasterly line
of said Block "N"; thence run northwesterly along a
line parallel to and ten (10) feet southwesterly
of the northeasterly line of said Block "N" to a
point on the northerly line of Lot One (1) of said
Block "N"; thence run easterly along the northerly
line of said Lot One (1) to the northeasterly line
of said Block "N".

AND, WHEREAS, the said BLUE OCEAN VILLAS INC. has
requested the said RELIANCE LIFE INSURANCE COMPA}IT OF PITTSBURGH
to release from the lien and operation of said mortgage that part
of said mortgaged premises which is contained in and is part of
the property hereinabove described;
NOW, THEREFORE, KN~, YE, that the said RELIANCE LIFE
INSURANCE COMPA1~ OF PITTSBURGH as well in consideration of the
premises as of the sum of Ten Dollars (~lO.OO) and other good and
valuable consideration, to it in hand paid by the said BLUE OCEAN
VILLAS INC. at the time of the execution hereof, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, does remise, release, quit-claim,
exonerate and discharge from the lien and operation of said mort-
gage unto the said BLUE OCEAN VILLAS INC., its successors and
assigns, all that piece, parcel or tract of land which is con-
tained in and is part of the property hereinabove described.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same, with the appurtenances,
unto the said BLUE OCEAN VILLAS INC., its successors and assigns
forever, freed, exonerated and discharged of and from the lien of
said mortgage, and every part thereof; provided, always neverthe-
less, that nothing therein contained shall in anywise impair,
alter or diminish the effect, lien or encumbrance of the afore-
said mortgage on the remaining part of said mortgaged premises,
not hereby released therefrom, or any of the right and remedies of
the holder thereof.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said Mortgagee by its duly
authorized officers, has hereunto set its hand and seal this 31st
day of July 1951.
