housing for formerly homeless individuals. Oversee 306 housing units in development and
484 housing units in operation. Fiscal oversight of $5 million operating budget and $70 million

Created programs to promote the educational and personal development of young girls within

Research Fellow Summer 1992
Designed interview instruments using life course history and standard format survey for a
demonstration study of New York's homeless population. Conducted interviews, coded and
entered data, and used SAS to run statistical reports. Authored and delivered a paper entitled
"The Effect of Race on Affiliation and Efficacy of Social Networks" at the Stony Brook REU
Symposium.
