039-1996 DM DEPARTMENT MEMORANDUM NO. 39-1996 DATE: November 15, 1996 TO: All Departmere Directors and Payroll Coordinators FROM: Jose Garcia~Pedrosa LFIDA City Manager SUBJECT: THANKSGIVING t Y PAYROLL Please note that the following holiday payroll procedures will need to be followed to ensure the release of paychecks Wednesday, November 27, 1996. 1. All updates and adjustments for prior payrolls must be received in Payroll/Human Resources by Wednesday, November 20, 1996 by noon. 2. All time exceptions must be entered by Thursday, November 21, 1996. 3. Trial reports must be reviewed by each department Thursday, November 21. Any changes that are necessary must be in Payroll by noon Thursday, November 21. 4. There will be many payroll adjustments for the holiday. Please follow payroll procedures. Incorrect adjustment forms will be returned to the department, As we approach the holiday season, there will be several employees using their leave. Remember, it is the responsibility of the department to have a backup payroll coordinator. The Payroll Division is not your backup.
