033-1995 DM OFFICE OF THE CITY MANAGER TELEPHONE: (305) 673-7010 FAX: (305) 673-7782 DEPARTMENT MEMORANDUM NO. 33-1995 TO: All Department Directors DATE: August 8, 1995 SUBJECT: Bulletins/Notices/Policy Changes--Distribution List Recently, during the preparation for Hurricane Erin, we neglected to communicate to the Pension Offices that the City was closed on August 1, 1995, for non-essential service personnel. The problem resulting from this lack of communication was that a limited ""' number of retirees attempted to either visit or contact the Pension Offices, but were unable to do so. It is requested that the Police/Fire Pension Administrator, Celia Borenstein-Locke, and the General/Unclassified Pension Administrator, Margaret Arculeo, be included on your mail listing as recipients of memorandums and bulletins that are routinely distributed to all department and/or division directors in the future. Additionally, in order to ensure that all executive staff in the City Manager's Office do receive copies of all Department Memorandums, the executive staff members should be listed on all Department Memorandums sent out in the future. I thank you for your cooperation in this matter. JGP:Ig cc: Dean R.
