SuB.1ECT: Condo Owners Workshop
The City of Miami Beach Community Resource and Outreach Team will be sponsoring a
free workshop that will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2007, 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. in the
Commission Chambers, 3~d floor, Miami Beach City Hall. The subject of the workshop will be
Condominium Elections. This workshop is the third in a series that will be held quarterly in
2008.
The featured speaker for the evening will be William Raphan from the State of Florida
Ombudsman's Office. The office of the State Ombudsman strives to better educate and
inform condominium owners throughout the state. Condo owners will understand their roles
and be in a better position to advocate for their associations while striving for an improved
quality of life.
The event will be promoted through newspapers, Channel 77, City of Miami Beach
newsletters, emails and the City website. The session will be filmed and shown on Channel
77 following the presentation.
