SUBJECT= VEHICLE8 ON LINCOLN ROAD MALL
The Lincoln Road Mall is undergoing major improvements. DUe to
this fact, all motorized vehicles are prohibited from driving over
the pedestrian walkways, with the following exceptions:
, Police and Fire Department personnel when responding to an
emergency, may drive across the Mall when necessary to
expedite an arrival. Due care, of course, should be used, as
this is a pedestrian walkway.
, Midnight Shift Police Officers may continue to perform their
hourly crime prevention checks by driving across the walkways.
* Necessary City vehicles may drive across the walkways to
perform Lincoln Road repair/maintenance.
Police Officers have been instructed to enforce this rule through
the issuance of appropriate citations. With the cooperation of all
City employees, as well as the public, the improvements made to
Lincoln Road will be not be damaged by our vehicles.
