SUBJECT: DEPARTMENTAL mEMPLOYEE DISASTER COORDINATOR~
Each Department must assign at least one (1) management person to
coordinate employee needs as it relates to a hurricane or other
disaster.
These Employee Disaster Coordinators will be responsible for the
following:
1) Training department employees in the City's Hurricane
Plan and their need to make their own plans for their
homes and families.
2) Gather information on their departments employees, with
special needs and volunteers to assist others.
3) Coordinate special assignments during pre and post
disaster.
A meeting for these coordinators will be held on Wednesday, June
29, 1994, 9:00 am to 11:00 am, in the 2nd Floor Conference Room.
This meeting is mandatory for every department coordinator.
Please contact Florence Cohan at extension #7097 by June 27th to
advise who the coordinator is from your department and advise them
of the meeting.
