SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee - Maintenance of the Electrowave Shuttle Fleet
On March 21, 2001, the City issued Request for Proposals No. 25-00/01 to provide Maintenance
Services for the Electrowave Shuttle Fleet. A sole response to the RFP was received on April 20,
2001, from the Electric Transit Vehicle Institute (ETVI), based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I am
considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Committee:
Robert Suggs, Manager, Electric Transportation Prod'am, Florida Power & Light Co.
Carlos Cuadras, Miami Beach resident with background in financing
Judy Evans, Exec. Director of MBTMA and member of Transport. & Parking Committee
Drew Terpak, Fleet Management Division Director
Amelia Johnson, Transportation Coordinator.
If you would like to recommend individuals to serve as Evaluation Committee members, please
provide me with the individual' s name and phone number by Monday, May 2|, 2001.
