RESOLUTION NO, 2001-24483
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM THE DACRA CORPORATION
OF VARIOUS ITEMS OF GYM EQUIPMENT, FOR A TOT AL ESTIMATED VALUE OF
$7,500, FOR USE BY THE MIAMI BEACH POLICE DEPARTMENT,
WHEREAS, the DACRA Corporation wishes to donate various items of used gym
equipment to the Miami Beach Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the used gym equipment has an estimated value of approximately $7,500,00.
A complete list is attached; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department will use the donated will place the used gym equipment
in the Police Department gym.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City
Commission herein accept a donation from the Dacra Corporation of various items of gym
equipment, for a total estimated value of $7,500, for use by the Miami Beach Police Department
PASSED and ADOPTED this 27th day of
June
2001.

ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION
Adopt the Resolution.
ANALYSIS
The DACRA Corporation has generously agreed to donate various items of gym equipment to the
Miami Beach Police Department for the Police Department gym.
The gym equipment is used and has an estimated value of$7,500 and will be placed in the Police
Department gym. A complete list ofthe gym equipment is attached for review.
The Administration recommends that the Mayor and City Commission adopt the Resolution
accepting this kind and generous donation to our City from DACRA Corporation.
