This Letter to the City Commission is to invite the Mayor and Members of the City
Commission io the Annual L.E.O. Awards Banquet on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Miami
Beach Convention Center. There will be a Welcome Reception from 5:00 p. m. to 6:00 p.m.,
followed by the Awards Ceremony at 6:15p.m to 8:00 p.m. and Dinner and Dancing from
8:15 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. This event is supported by the Miami-Dade County Association of
Chiefs of Police to benefitthe Police Officer Assistance Trustand the Police Memorial Fund.
The Miami Beach Police Department is honored to have nine finalist nominated for this
year's awards program.
