Thank you for writing Governor Charlie Crist regarding the City of Miami Beach's recent
resolution urging the Florida Legislature to equalize funding based on population to provide
each region of the State of Florida, including South Florida, its fair share of state funding. The
Governor appreciated receiving resolution No.2009-27002 and asked me to respond on his
behalf.
The Governor realizes how vital it is that slate and local leaders, like you and your
colleagues, continue to put the best interests of their citizens forward. Your continued efforts
and dedication to Florida are greatly appreciated.
