SUBJECT: EVALUATION COMMITTEE FOR THE NORMANDY PARK POOL
RFP#21-00/01
On June 15, 2001, pursuant to Request for Proposals (RFP) #21-00/01, I notified the Honorable
Mayor and City Commission in Letter to Commission #130-2001, of my intention to establish an
Evaluation Committee, composed of seven (7) individuals-City's staff and private residents alike-to
review, evaluate and make a recommendation regarding the proposals received for the improvements
of the Normandy Park and Pool. Unfortunately, some members of the Committee expressed their
unavallability to serve at this time.
Therefore, the Administration has considered the replacement of the June 15,2001 Committee as
follows:
Michel Magloire, Sr. Capital Projects Coordinator, City of Miami Beach
Roberto Sanchez, G.O. Bond Oversight Committee Member and North Beach Resident
Julio E. Magrisso, Resident
Ch~s Growaid, Resident
Martin Hyman, G.O. Bond Oversight Committee Member, Architect and Resident
Kevin Smith, Parks and Recreation Department Director
Ramiro Inguanzo, Chief of Staff, Office of the City Manager, City of Miami Beach
If you would like to recommend individuals to serve as Evaluation Committee members, please
provide me with the individuals names and phone numbers by August 7, 2001.
