Subject:
The first lottery for street performers was held on August 6, 2001. We had 20 applicants
of which 3 were street performers and 17 were street art vendors. Street performers paid
annual application fees of $15 and street art vendors paid $50. Street art vendors won all
8 locations. The initial group of permits will expire on December 31, 2001 however; future
permits will be issued for a three-month period. Each permit has a picture of the vendor
and we have pictures of their artwork in our files. A list of those selected is as follows:
