LEAGUE
This Letter to the Commission is to advise that effective September 30, 2001, Officer
Bernie Winer officially retires from the Miami Beach Police Department and effective
October 1, 2001, Officer Alkareem Azim will assume the position of Executive Director of
the Miami Beach Police Athletic League.
Please join me in wishing Officer Azim the best of luck and assure him of our continuing
support of the PAL.
