The Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce yet another successful after~cho®I artdX
summer program year!
This year, our after school program had an average of 893 participants enrolled quarterly, of which
81 % (721 participants) received full or partial scholarship.
Our summer camps were full to capacity with 2,758 campers; 1,312 were day campers, of which 72%
(947) received full or partial scholarships. The other 1,446 children registered for one or more of our
23 different specialty camps offered this year. Of these children, 22% (315) received a 25% sibling
discount or a full or partial scholarship as part of your approved scholarship program. Overall, of the
2,758 participants enrolled in a day camp or specialty camp, 46% (1,262) received a full or partial
scholarship, and were able to enjoy our excellent programs.
