The City Commission Retreat is confirmed for Friday, January 22 and Saturday, January
23, 2010. The 2 -day retreat will take place at the Alexander Hotel located 5225 Collins
Avenue in the Parlor Room.
Dr. Rick Jensen, who has facilitated our previous retreats, will again facilitate our time
together this year.
The binder distributed along with this LTC includes the following:

2009 Community Survey Results Highlights
+ Copy of the 2009 Strategic Plan Update
• FY 2009110 Adopted Work Plan
• Work Plan Results (FY 2005105, FY 2006107, FY 2007108 and FY 2008109)
■ List of Major Upcoming 1 Pending City Projects
To facilitate the discussion, please take some time to become familiar with the citywide
and departmental initiatives included in the FY 2009110 Adopted Work Plan.
For your reference and use at the retreat, I ask that each of you bring your copy of the
2009 Community Survey Results and a copy of the Environmental Scan (cover reads
"Updated May 8, 2009).
