WHEREAS; on February 20, .2.002, the ,Mayor- and City Commission passed an'd
adopted Resolution No. _2002-24765 which established a Public Safety Committee to address
~~. ~ :~ ~ . pubfi:c safety issues within our community and to focus on issues such as the establishment: of
community emergency response teams o assist fhe City with. emergency preparedness and
~. other~associated broad policy issues pertaining to public safety; and
~. ~ WHEREAS; the purpose and responsibilities of the Public Safety Committee have been
.adequately addressed andhandled by the City Administration and other- related. Committees
within the City. i

. N;OW THEREFORE,. BE IT DULY RESOLVED THAT THE MAYOR AND CITY
