Pursuant to Ordinance No. 93-2868, on July 15, 2010 the City Clerk's Office began election
procedures to elect the Representative of Group 2 for the Personnel Board fortlie next three
years ending on July 31,-2013. =-~ ~'

On July. 15, 2010 a notice informing that all eligible employees who were interested in
running for the Group 2 Representative could file their candidacy in the -City Clerk's Office '
from Monday, July 19, 2010 through Friday, July 23, 2010, was noticed via a-mail to the
Department Directors, Division Directors, and Management Team with instructions to post
and distribute the notice among their employees. The. notice was also emailed City wide to
all City Employees.
Mr. George Castell, Code Compliance Administrator, from Code Compliance, was the only
employee who filed to fill the vacancy in Group 2; therefore Mr. Castell was elected without
opposition as Representative of Group 2 for the Personnel Board, to fill the three year term
ending on July, 31, .2013.
Group 1: Consists of Police Department, Fire Department and Beach Patrol Department Employees.
Group 2: Consists of employees in clerical and executive positions.
Group 3: Consists of all other employees.

We, the undersigned Clerk and Inspector, do hereby certify, that a qualifying period of
five (5) working days, from Monday, July 19, 2010 through Friday, July 23, 2010, to file
for Representative of Group 2 for the Personnel Board, was noticed to all City employees
via City wide e-mail and also emailed to the.Department Directors, Division Directors,
and the Management Team distribution lists, with instruction to post and distribute the
notice among their employees.
