' SUBJECT: NOVEMBER 2 GENERAL ELECTION -CHANGE OF LOCATION FOR
MIAMI BEACH PRECINCTS 36 AND 39.
Precincts 3b and 39 are currently located at the Flamingo Boys & Girls Club. 'In every election
Miami-Dade County Elections Department (MDCED) seeks permission to use the different
• facilities throughout the City as polling precincts.
MDCED notified Robert Parcher, City Clerk, that the two precincts, 36 and 39, located at$oys
& Girls Club would not be available for the November 2 General Election because of the
demolition of the existing facility and construction of a new facility.
-In an email from :Mr. Alex Rodriguez-Roig, Executive Director, Boys & Girls Club of Miami-
Dade, he advised the City that to be on the safe side to find an alternate location because
. November is about the time fhey expect to start the demolition.
MDCED will be moving precincts 36 and 39 to the Miami Beach Police Athletic League facility
and will be notifying all registered voters by mail of the change in location in addition. to
posting a notice, at the Boys & Girls Club.
