SUBJECT: Results of,Ratification Vote by Communications Workers of America (CWA)
Members
The purpose of this Letter to the Commission (LTC) is to advise the Mayor and
Commission that the CWA membership held their ratification vote on Thursday,
September 30, 2010. The outcome of the vote was as follows: 207 .members voted. in
favor of the ratification of the contract and 113 members voted against the ratification of
the contract. Therefore, 64.7 percent of the members who voted, voted in favor of the
ratification of the contract.
This item will. be brought to the City Commission for ratification at your October 27, 2010
City Commission meeting.
