SUBJECT: Seniors' Holiday Party
This Letter to Commission is provided to inform you of an upcoming event for seniors. To
commemorate this time of the year, the City of Miami Beach Parks and Recreation Department
and the Miami Beach Convention Center, managed by Global Spectrum, will be hosting a Holiday
Party for senior citizens of Miami Beach on` Tuesday}; December 14, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
at the Convention Center, Hall D Ballroom, 1901 Convention Center Drive.
Seniors will have an opportunity to mingle and meet new friends, as well as enjoy an evening of
food, fun and dancing while celebrating the holidays. To add to the fun, Mr. & Mrs. Claus will make
a special appearance as they travel from the North Pole to take pictures with everyone. In addition,
members of the Miami Beach Teen Club will be providing assistance during the event to make this
Holiday Party an unforgettable one.
The "Holiday Party" is one of many free events offered throughout the year for our senior -
residents. Events like these bring seniors from our community together for evenings of fun and
entertainment.
