SUBJECT: Scott Rakow Youth Center Grand Re-Opening and Ice Skating Showcase
This-Letter to Commission is -pr'ovided-to invite you to attend-the Scott Rakow Youth Center`s
Grand Re-Opening Ceremony and Winter Ice Skating Showcase on Sunday, December 19,
2010. The Ice Skating show is scheduled to begin at 12:45 P.M. and conclude at approximately
2:30 P.M. Due to limited seating, please R.S.V.P. to Ellen Vargas at extension 4802 by
December 16th to request your reserved seats. .
Following the show, the long awaited ribbon cutting is scheduled at 3:30 PM. Be among the first
to see the spectacular newly renovated Scott Rakow Youth Center. Renovations include a new
fitness room, gymnastic room, media room, computer lab, music room and multi-purpose room,
a completely renovated bowling alley, a game room and snack bar area. A wide range of
programs and services will be offered such as cheerleading, yoga, exercise, gymnastics, music
and much more. The parking lot has also been expanded.
Please join us and bring your family and friends to enjoy the Winter Ice Skating Showcase
followed by the highly anticipated grand re-opening of the Scott Rakow Youth Center!
