Seth Wasserman The Transportation and Parking Committee met on April 4, 2011, and were
provided with an update on the City's Bike Sharing Program with Deco Bike. The
committee would like to share this information with you.
In the first two (2) weeks of operation, Deco Bike reported around 20,000
rentals. It was estimated that 60% of riders were from Miami Beach or
Miami -Dade County. There were no accidents or injuries.
The committee requested more information as to demographics of who is
renting the bicycles.
