As part of Miami Beach's ongoing efforts to provide enhanced information about the City to
the community, we are now airing the latest edition of "CityVision" on MBTV77, our
government access cable TV station. "CityVision" is a 30- minute video magazine show
produced by the Office of - Communications specifically to illustrate the City's progress in
meeting the goals of our strategic plan, and to provide information to our residents on
current events, programs and services that affect them.
The April /May 2011 edition of "CityVision" features the following newsworthy stories:
• The City's efforts to address illegal short term rentals in South Beach;
A recap of the City's SoundScape Cinema Series, which premiered with Avatar to a
packed audience;
• A tour of the City's very own "muscle beach" fitness circuit in Lummus Park;
• A report on the "shared lane" concept for bicycles and vehicles on Washington
Avenue; and,
• Details on what's in store for the historic band shell and North Shore Park.
Other stories covered include the launch -of our City's Adopt -a -Beach program, the City's
new and improved Collins Park plays host to "Arts in the Parks," our newest Community
Garden is in bloom at Pine Tree Park, the 3 rd Annual Miami Beach Women's Conference,
and DecoBike rolls out in Miami Beach.

This edition was shot on site at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The MBCC is slated
for renovation and expansion in the coming years.. We explain how the master planning
process is moving forward and what design highlights are expected in our City's convention
center of the future.
