SUBJECT: Spring Eggstravaganza Invitation
The purpose of this letter to Commission is to invite you to attend and participate in the
upcoming Spring Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 23 2011. The .event kicks off the
spring season with a day filled with food, fun, music, rides and of course.:.e�ggs. The Spring
Eggstravaganza will take place at the North Shore Park located at (501 72" Street) from 10
a.m. —12:30 p.m. Children 10 years and younger are invited to participate in the. annual egg
hunt that will take place at 11 a.m. In addition, there will be a tree planting ceremony, along
with.a reading.of the City's Arbor Day proclamation, informational pamphlets, coloring books
and a certified arborist to answer your tree questions for the City's'Arbor Day Celebration.
We invite you to join us at the planting that will be held at 12:00 noon.
Additionally, you are invited to assist in serving free snow cones. to event participants at a
tent set -up up for this activity between the hours of 10 :00 A.M. and, 12 :30 P. M. A banner
welcoming everyone to stop and meet their Mayor and Commissioners will be placed on site
giving everyone an opportunity to. meet you and say hello.
