Seth Wasserman The Transportation and Parking Committee met on June 6, 2011 and
were provided with the below update on the Port of Miami Tunnel Project. .
The tunnel boring machine for the port tunnel is presently on a ship headed to
Miami and should arrive later this month. Once here, the machine will be
disassembled and barged over to Watson Island. There will be,some.lane
closures when parts are craned over the McArthur Causeway, but these closures
will occur at night.
