Attached please find Ms: Castillo's letter received in the City Clerk's office on June 14, 2011,
resigning from the Visitors and Convention'Authority. Ms. Castillo was appointed as an "At-
Large" member. Pursuant to City Code Section 102- 247(1) "Not less than two nor more than
three members shall be representative of the hotel industry."
With the resignation of Ms. Castillo, the board has two. (2) members representing the hotel
industry, Mr. Jeff Lehman and Mr. Keith Menin.
An,item will be. placed on the July 13 City Commission Agenda should the City Commission
wish to make an appointment.

It is with sadness that I have to resign from my Board position with the Miami Beach Visitors and Convention Authority.
Unfortunately, my work travel schedule puts mein a position where I am not able to meet the requirements. I have
enjoyed my time working with Eileen, yourself and my fellow Board Members and wish you and the organization much
