SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Re Pfor fic ations (RFQ) No. 35- 10/11, for a
Design Criteria Professional to prepare the design criteria package for the Palm and
Hibiscus Neighborhood Right of Way Improvement Project
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the Request for
Qualifications (RFQ) No. 35- 10/11, for the above project. The deadline for receipt of proposals is
3:00 p.m. on July 14, 2011.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Ian Kaplan, President of the Palm & Hibiscus Island Neighborhood Association;
• Brad Metzler, resident and President of KM Plaza Construction;
• Elizabeth Camargo, Resident and Capital Improvement Projects Oversight
Committee (CIPOC) member;
• Toml Mooney, Preservation and Design Manager, Planning Department.
• Grace Escalante, Senior Capital Projects Coordinator, CIP;
• Hermes Diaz, Civil Engineer II, Public Works; and
• Tim ( Rose, member of the Palm & Hibiscus Island Neighborhood Association

• Thais Vieria, Capital Projects Coordinator, CIP; and
• Christina Cuervo, Resident and Capital Improvement Projects Oversight Committee
