SUBJECT: Personnel Board. Group 1 Election
Pursuant to Ordinance No. ;93- 2868, the City Clerk's Office began election, procedures to
elect the Representative of Group 1 for the Personnel Board for the next three years ending
on July 31, 2014.
On June 20, 2010 a notice informing that all eligible employees who were interested in
running -for the Group - 1 Representative could .file to run in the City. Clerk's Office from
Monday, June 20, 2011 through Friday, July 1, 2011, was noticed via e-mail to the Fire
Department, Police Department and Ocean Rescue Division with instructions to post and
distribute the notice among their employees.
Mr. Christopher Diaz from Ocean Rescue Division was the only employee who filed to fill the
vacancy in Group 1; therefore Mr. Diaz was elected without opposition as. Representative of
Group 1 for the. Personnel Board, to fill the three year term ending on July, 31, 2014.
Group 1: Consists of Police Department, Fire Department and Beach Patrol Department Employees.
