SUBJECT: Grand Opening of the new South Pointe Park Playground/ Shade
Structure
We are very pleased to inform you that the new South Pointe Park Playground
installation is complete and opened for the enjoyment and use by our residents and
other park guests in the afternoon of July 26, 2011!
A status update of the South Pointe Playground was provided to you via a Letter to
Commission dated July 6, 2011. At the time we stated the new South Pointe Park
playground with the shade system would be completed and open to the general public
the by the end of July.
Attached for your review are photographs of the new playground, shade structure and
safety surfacing.
Please take a moment to visit this new and innovative addition to our Parks & Recreation
facilities and advise if you have questions, comments or concerns.
