SUBJECT Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 40- 10/11, for a
Construction Manager at Risk Firm to provide Pre - Construction Services and
Construction Phase Services via a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) Amendment for
the 6 and 53` Street Restroom Projects.
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the Request for
Qualifications (RFQ) No. 40- 10/11. The deadline for receipt of proposals relative to the above
subject RFQ is 3:00 p.m. on August 8, 2011.
1 am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Duane Knecht, Director, Property Management.
• Elizabeth Camargo, Resident and Capital Improvement Projects Oversight Committee
(CIPOC) member.
• William Cary, Assistant Director, Planning Department.
• Kevin Smith, Director, Parks and Recreation Department; and
• Thais Vieira, Capital Projects Coordinator, CIP.
• Mario Courtney, resident and member of the Ocean Drive Association.
Alternates
• Christina Cuervo, Resident and Capital Improvement Projects Oversight Committee
(CIPOC) member; and
• Tom Mooney, Preservation Manager, Planning Department
